Chris Sand

Chris “Sandman” Sand has traversed the blue highways and gravel backroads of the USA for over three decades performing a unique blend of folk, punk and hip hop in basements, living rooms, barns, and dive bars along the way. Sand grew up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in western Montana riding horses, kayaking rivers, bucking bales, and breakdancing. In 2010 he was the subject of the feature-length award-winning documentary, ROLL OUT, COWBOY. Dubbed by Punk Planet in 2003 as “our Troubadour for the 21st Century,” Sand continues his DIY adventure this year with his 15th full-length album, NON-JUDGMENT DAY.
